Remembering Suzanne

On Wednesday morning our family and a few local friends from Rosalia and Seattle gathered on Steptoe Butte to remember our mother.  We each took turns speaking about her and reading passages from her favorite books or poems. Lisa sang "Baby Mine", which was one of her favorite lullabies.

Suzanne loved Steptoe from the top of which you can see a 360 degree view of the Palouse hills.

In Lieu of Flowers...

In lieu of flowers our father has asked that friends and family donate in Suzanne's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital:

St. Jude's provides care to children with catastrophic illnesses. Suzanne began donating to St. Jude's when her granddaughter Rena was diagnosed in Leukemia in 2011.
